Hey Mike, I'm whispering because I don't want to scare that bird away, the one that landed at your place has either multiplied or has migrated to my backyard. Sssshhhhhhuuuuusssssshhhhh...I'm in the 150s again...158 this a.m. and I don't intend to ever see the 160s again! Reenie, send that bird my way when you're done with him. I think we're trading the same few pounds back and forth. I'm hovering around the 160 mark myself. Someone at work sat me down and told me that I was getting too thin and that I needed to stop losing last week. A couple of days ago, my 20 year old son had a heart to heart with me about my skinny self. He says that I look unhealthy. There's not a weight chart in the world that says that 160 pounds is too thin for a 5'5" woman. By the way, since losing the weight and taking the pressure of my spine, I've gained at least an inch. I'm really pressing for 150 before plastics and I dread the comments that I'm going to get from people. Ha! I should show them my breasts. Then they'll really know what skinny and sickly looks like. Congrats Reenie, How wonderful to be in those numbers. You certanly have done better than me. I am still looking for thos 190's. I have dropped 3 lbs this week, but still at 203 can't seem to get below that 200 mark.. Keep up the good work!! Marilyn, the Bearlady

Reenie!!!! Yaay!!! Great news!!! Your loss has given me strength as well. We are all just passing that good energy back and forth I do have to say that I did go up 2 pounds but its definitely NOT from eating bad foods. I am starting to grow bunny ears! Its that time of the month I CANNOT wait till its gone!!! I am hoping once it passes that I will drop a few pounds! I have been exercising too!!! I finally got my butt back to the gym!!! I started monday and boy oh boy has it been hard... Each day I say "im not going" and then I just go- force myself. I do have to say that I have read one Dean Koontz book called Taken which was really neat. and Now I am on my second book called the door to december since I started. I find that reading while doing the eliptical machine makes the time fly by!!! I burn 300-310 (310 today) on the machine in 30 minutes and it really passes the time. Oooo I am eating the juciest greenest apple. I love the green apples but havent really eaten any. It actually is filling me up rather well! I have been doing grapes, watermelon, strawberries, melon. Then Broccoli (broccoli has been my lunch everyday lately) and cucumbers sometimes green peppers. Bananas, spinach leaves, carrots, green peppers. Hence the bunny ears!! Bran Flakes. I JUST bought some skim milk (BLECH!) BUT I am so determined to get this weight off I'll do it!!!! gag. So far today its been: Breakfast: 1/2 c milk (for decaf coffee) 1/2 cup of oatmeal with 1 tsp granola and splenda Lunch: 1 apple; 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup bran flakes with skim milk and splenda Snack: Other half of the banana Dinner: I just dont know. Hmmm.... I think I am going to the super market and pick me up a weigh****chers meal. I can see EXACTLY how many calories I am eating for sure. Anways... I dont know why I'm reporting. Just wanted to share and babble. Gimme some time I swear I could write a book! Beth

Elizabeth, where's your protein????? I'm worried about you! Keep up the kick-butt workout, girlfriend! You're doing great, but where oh where is that at-least-60-grams-of-protein-a-day -- and we probably should be getting in at least 80 grams now...Reenie Oh, and what about the H2O???

OH Yeah! I always forget to put in my protein drinks. I guess I dont count it as food yeah I drink my protein with my cup of milk. I use this yummy caramel vanilla swirl powder made by BioChem... its yummy!!! I get alot by food... not what I have listed there though LOL but I drink a few cups of milk. Which upps the protein 1 cup of skim has about 10 grams so I usually drink about 3 cups. A little too much milk but eh. so that 30 from milk then I get about 20 from the protein then I get about 20-30 from the food. There are times that I sneak a protein bar in too. Thats about 15 grams. Yeah if I dont get in that protein I wont loose. I use fit day to log everything which really keeps my protein in check I forgot to take my liquid vitamins and my calcium last night! I WAS busy munching on grapes and broccoli though I am really trying to eat better. I already lost one of the pounds I gained today!!! and today when I weighed I had jeans on so the clothing was heavier too!!! So I am keeping my fingers crossed that I keep loosing! I hate to eat sooo healthy then gain!!! I know its that time of the month but it is sooo discouraging. But I wont let it get to me. 'sigh' .... MUCH... I wish the stupid scale would drop! Ugh. I am scrambling my brain staring at that dum ol' fitday trying to see where I can cut my calories...what I can eat that has no calories so I dont go over the top. Its hard! 100 calories in 1 cup of skim milk... 3 cups thats an EASY 300 calories. 'sigh' BUT I love my milk...its just something I cant cut down. At any rate...I bought some fat free low cal ranch dressing. Its OK but I will still splurge on the good stuff. Just careful of the amount I eat. I am hoping by monday I will have lost some more weight. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

AAAHAAAA!!!! You skinny thief you!!!!! You stole my little birdie!!! As predicted, he left as fast as he arrived, but he has been back a few times since, so I know that it wasn't a figment of my over-heated imagination. I have been back and forth across the 200 line all week. Hey Maureen, congratulations on getting back to the 150's and on your workout routine. You continue to amaze me girl..... keep it up!!! Mike

I'm so happy for all of you who have broken important marks! Reading these helped me to get myself into gear. I want to be in the 150's too! I;ve been working a****ching what I eat. I'm the one who had the issue with the twizzlers. nasty stuff. They are gone and I'm back in the swing. What a surprise when I weighed in this week. lost 1/2 pound! while it didn't get me into the 150's yet I'm only 2 & 1/2 pounds away! Great job Reenie!
