Plastic Surgery Costs??

Can you give me an idea of doctor/hospital costs for plastic surgery? I need a TT -that will probably be covered by insurance, but also need my arms done. How much for the doctor/hospital cost for the arms? Do you know if the tummy tuck and arms are done at the same time if it would be cheaper (since insurance is already paying for hospital costs)? Hi Donna, I just had my first plastic surgery consult on yesterday. Dr Smith in Jackson will be my surgon. He is very nice. I have Medicare and with them you have to show a need for them to pay. I started way back letting my PCP know how bad my back and shoulders hurts me due to sagging skin pulling on them so I could have documented proof when this time came. Dr. Smith says he is sure Medicare will pay, but if for some reason they don't he will be willing to work with me in whatever way possible cause he is proud of my success and sees how badly I need to rid myself of this extra person attached to me. He took pictures and told me about the scaring I will have after. He will remove a large part of my stomach, I have a huge apron. The second arm I have hanging. The second set of breast on my back that extends around to my sides, and the hanging sagging skin on my thighs. He will do the arms and stomach first, and the rest in other surgeries. He wants me to wait 6 more months caue Medicare will not consider paying until I am at a stable weight. I have to reach my goal not lose any more for them to pay. But Dr. Smith is very good and caring. I'm glad I got him. The main thing is pre-planning. Start complaing about your achs and pains. I hope this helps.
