I was just wondering if anyone else shares my experience with weight flux... Granted, it might have something to do with me not going to they gym as much as I used to (was going 6 days a week and working out hard! I feel like a bum now!) But within, lets say, 2 weeks...my weight can go from 161 all the way up to 170 and back... i'm sure some of it is water, but not the whole 9 lbs !!! Any ways anyone has stablized it? By the way, when i'm at 161...i'm offically down 116 lbs! Wahoo!

I'm the same way. Last week I was down to 125. I go from 125-6 to 131-2,3,4 all week. It drives me nuts!!! I just keep saying as long as I dont reach 135 I'm ok LOL. I think maybe it's just our bodies trying to figure out where they are going to stabilize at. ~Nicole

Debra, I think all of us at 13 months out are fight the weight problem right now. I think our bodies are trying to adjust to what we have lost so quickly in that year. Just wondering if you are out of Las Vegas, Who did your surgury? I live in BUllhead City, but come to Las Vegas quite a biut as my Doctor was Dr. Fisher in Las Vegas. He also has a support group on line called Dr. Fishers Band & bypass .com./ Check it out even if your not one of his patients. You can learn a lot from those people too! Marilyn, the Bearlady

Gee, I thought this was happening to only me. I am going back and forth between 150-155. I thought maybe I was getting in too many carbs. As I reviewed my day yesterday, I discovered I was grazing all day and am determined to stop. I also thought it might be my body adjusting and am at the final resting place for my weight. I am ok with that, I just do not want to gain it back. So I will watch my carbs and see what happens next.

I do this a lot, but eventually I'll seesaw downwards. I think it's probably really common though because I suspect that with all those starving fat cells that they will take any opportunity to suck up the weight at the drop of a hat. Eat just a tiny little something you shouldn't and you gain. But overall it can't maintain the rebound if we keep it low enough. The thing is, I think it will always be a battle to make sure that the seesaw doesn't start going upwards.... Dina

Me too! All the time... Its very fustrating But I guess its normal. I go from 132-138. I Just had a Tummy tuck and they took off 4 lbs of skin and I still go up and down. It drives me so crazy, I would love to just stay at one weight and not move! Then again, If I stayed off the scales I probably wouldn't notice it as much. Also my husband who had the bypass a month after me goes threw the same exact thing, he goes from 200-207, everyday its a different number... So I guess its normal for men too! Yep, me too. Remember my post exclaiming my excitement for hitting 159? I think I stayed at that weight for about 30 seconds, back in the low 160s again...fully expected it after this weekend of terrible emotional eating. The battle is truly just beginning for me. By the sounds of it, I'm not alone. Onward and upward, my fellow Marchers! Reenie
