THE DAY I THOUGHT WOULD NEVER COME...
Hi all. I am absolutely humbled to share with you that when I stepped on the scale this morning, I saw numbers that I never truly believed I would ever see...159! I am in the 150s!!! ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE POUNDS. I stood there and read those numbers and they were so foreign to me I was literally confused for a moment, as if my brain took a dive into a deep abyss. And then it registered. I'm in the 150s. I am just 7 pounds away from a total loss (including the 20 lost before surgery) of TWO HUNDRED POUNDS. Now mind you, the scale has vacilated from between 162 and 165 for the past 8 weeks so I fully expect it to swing back over 160 again before it settles in the 150s for good. But nothing will take away this moment from me. Just had to share, in fact couldn't wait to talk to you! Thanks everyone, for helping me get to this point. Now comes the dreaded weekend!!!! Lots of hugs, Reenie
That's exactly what I weighed this morning! I've been going between 160 and 165 since the end of November, once getting down to 156 for a few seconds. I think my weight loss has stopped but I'm fine with it because I am 5'9". I have a tummy tuck and breast augmentation (lift and implants) scheduled for June 20th and the doc said he would be taking off approx. 10 lbs of skin which would bring me right where I want to be. I'm wearing a size 10 and in some cases an 8. Isn't life wonderful? In the fall I will get my thighs and arms done. Self-pay. Good luck!!
I haven't been on here in ages. My DH had wls and 1 month later required coronary quadruple bypass surgery. He is doing well in all respects of recovery.
But I saw your post tonight and just had to congratulate you on your success. I am so happy for you!!!!!! When I read your posts in the past I knew you had the determination and dedication to acheive maximum success. All the best to you.
Love,
Louise
231/130
PS I never ever thought I would ever weigh 130. I did go down to 126 but 130 seems to suit me.
Congrats again!
