NEW TO THE GROUP
I just wanted to say hi to everybody and let you guys know that I am new to the group....Everybodys biographys have made me made my decision to get the gastric bypass surgery done....i had my appt today with my primary doctor and she is sending a refferal over to a surgeon....
One step to accomplishing my goal....I have been dealing with the weight issue for 8 yrs now and I know now is the time I really need to do something.......I want to live to see my boys have kids of their own...Well till next time.....Renea in Virginia 
We will help you all we can with our vast experiences. I would like to make a suggestion to you:
Find your state board for local support and encouragement and the surgery board for the month of your surgery.
We walked our journey together and it was helpful and very encouraging. I can say things to this group of people and they understand and some have been there or will soon be there going through some of the same issues.
Understand too that everyone is different, every doctor is different. Learn to read and assess the comments yourself and do what is better for you.
Again, good luck on your journey. It was the best decision I could ever made.
