Feel overwhelmed...
Is anyone else feeling overwhelmed with trying to loose this weight and keep everything else sane???
Lately I feel like I am giong insane trying to loose these last 20 pounds, keep the kids on track, finish my FREAKIN MASTER'S thesis...
UGH.....
OK... so I know it is just everything piling on top of me right now but
I am struggling with my food intake.
If it isn't sweet or crunchy I don't want it.
I do have a real problem with my vitamins, I have to take IROn and it is KILLING ME!
HOLY SMOKES!
anyone have any suggestions on how to get in iron and not have severe stomach ache and then constipation and then exlposive...well you get the idea.
Please help me with the stinking iron.

I am feeling somewhat the same way. I think part of my problem is, for the first time in many years I have much more energy and want to do so many things with it that I cant decide what to do first and it is just causing me more stress. My eating is under control. I have a day here and there that the food demons try to get the best of me, but all in all I am very happy with how things are going. I still have 10 pounds to lose and am feeling the pressure of that too. The scale hasnt budged in 2 weeks and that is driving me nuts as well. I am struggling with constipation as well. I dont have to take iron so I am no help there, but wanted you to know you are not alone with the intense pressure stuff. If anyone has help for me with constipation I would be grateful......I take colace daily and drink plenty of fluids.... but it gets prettty miserable here sometimes......

Hi Janelle, sounds as if we are walking the same path! I must take Colace daily or I'm in big trouble. Have recently bumped up the fruit intake and that seems to have helped. Also, as much walking as possible seems to curb the constipation - I've had this problem since surgery. Can't offer any advice but do throw out these words of encouragement. You're doing great! Hi Nic, yes, it would seem we are all busy living our incredibly busy and stressful lives. Same as before surgery, right? My advice to you is to find a quiet 5 minutes, alone with your thoughts; make a list of all that you must do, accomplish, or that you are responsible for on a daily basis and then prioritize. Turn that outrageous list into a manageable plan of action. None of it will get done, or get done well, however, if you don't put yourself, your health and your well-being at the top of this list. We must each of us learn to LIVE with food, every day, for the rest of our lives. We must learn to control it, not the other way around. Like Janelle, I have some off-days, but I no longer binge eat emotionally. And no matter what, no matter how "bad" the food day, I counter-attack with exercise, water, protein intake, and just generally taking good care of myself. I cannot allow myself to look for excuses to eat -- and let's face it, life is hard -- plenty of excuses there! Hope this helps, and take good care of yourself. Reenie

I am feeling a bit better today and will be so THRILLED when the jelly bean season is over.
My son's class just did a taste test of all the different brands of jelly beans! GREAT math lesson with research thrown in but ugh the smell of jelly beans is enought omake me sick now...although I did discover I like the starburst ones the best! LOL
I have this week off from ym master's classes and my husband is taking Thursday and friday off so hopefully we can tackle the house and get it looking presentable again!
Spring break is next week with my anniversary so I will post after my appointment with the doctor!
