Hello all!! I have been out of touch for way too long. I know i need to stay active on the board. It helped me so much in the past. I feel that i have fallen of the wagon so to speak. In febuary i had my tummy tuck. they cut off a hunk of me that was 44 cm long, 21 cm wide and 6 cm think. I have pictures of the skin they cut off as well as what my tummy looked like the day after. I don't have a belly button any more, but it is not like i was ever gonna go around showing my stomach around town. LOL!!I still have like 40 lbs to lose and i know i can do it, with the help of all of you. I know if i check in at least once a day i can stay on track. I am gonna go back to the basics of the diet and start off doing like it was in the beginning. Getting in all my protein has always been a challenge for me. And since the WLS i have had low iron, and have to go in once a week for IV iron, and i do that 4 weeks and then i am off it for 4 weeks and then back on. When i had my tummy tuck, they gave me 2 units of blood the day after because my hemibolbin was so low. It was 8.3. The doctor is unsure why it is so low, but they keep pumping me full of iron. I hate doing it. i feel like it is a waste of 2 hours every week. Well thank you for reading my ramblings!! And just to let you know i will be more present on this board. If anyone wants to see the pictures, let me know, i will gladly show you.

Hi Tanya, good to see you posting! I really believe the key to success is redirecting our energies - away from food and towards living life fully. Know what's important to you and pursue it with everything you have! Take care, M.

Hey Tanya, Do they have any idea why your iron is so low? Did you have issues with low iron before surgery? I'm always curious about the issues people have after surgery. I'm trying to stay on top of things because I really bet there are a lot of things that aren't known or documented yet. Connie
