why won't the weight come off???

I have been trying for months with no weight loss.......kind of starting to figure I am done.....but I can't except that...... I drink my water, watch my carbs and get my protien in........yes I lack in exersize. Is this all it is is exersize.....someone kick me in the butt....... I want to lose about 20 more lbs......and nothing is happening.......I am getting so depressed about this......but am happy I have come so far......its almost a year....what to do.......sorry just venting........... someone open my eyes....... thanks Donna

Donna, I think you answered your own question. If you're doing everything else right, it has to be the exercise. I also want to lose another 20 and have had no weight loss for the last month. My physical activity is good, but my water and food could be better. I try to make sure I get in enough protein, but I've noticed that since I started drinking iced tea again, my water consumption is not what it should be. I also find myself eating crackers and pretzels every once in a while. So let's make a pact. I'll commit to getting in my water and cutting the crackers and pretzels and you commit to exercise three times this week for 30 minutes. I bet if we do this, we'll find the weight starting to slide off again. Deal? Anyone else want to join? Connie

Sounds good to me........will start out on the treadmill later today....... I take care of my husband so can only exersize at home........ Late last night I tried on a pair of pants at walmart and I could fit in a size 4 now but with the extra skin.....just don't look right.....hope this will help .......exersizing....I wish both of us sucess..... anyothers welcome...... I would like to join! I have become a carb junkie and I hate myself because of it. I vow today to eat more protien and less carbs! And also vow to get in the right amout of fluids and take my vitamins! Man, I have a lot of vows... Donna, Exercise must be the key. I had not lost any weight for almost 3 months....so I started religiously exercising. I have dropped almost 5 pounds the last month. Good luck to you. Joann

I'm reporting in. I did great with my water, but made a poor food choice. I had to put my dog of 17 years to sleep yesterday afternoon and afterwards came home and had a dinner of tortilla chips and bean dip. Still an emotional eater here. I was rewarded with a one pound gain this morning. Today's a new day and I'll start again. Connie

Thanks, Joy. This has been a really tough one for me. Every last dog I've ever had died of old age so I had a nice long time to get attached. I wish you the best with yours and hope that she hangs in there. Connie
