Hello Fellow Marchers!
Just wanted to pop in and say hi!
Been struggling like crazy this weekend with snacking!!! I have had tastycakes and girl scout cookies!!! EEGADS!!!
I'm insane! Oh and cool whip in a can. (my personal favorite) on sugar free ice cream. MAKE ANY SENSE??? HOW BAD HAVE I BEEN??? BUT thankfully... VERY thankfully I didnt gain over the weekend!!! WHEW!!! SOOOO back on track I go. Its so bizzare... I eat very well during the week and dont loose (sometimes up a pound or so) I do terrible on the weekend and I actually almost lost a pound. WEIRD. I will probably feel the effects next week though. SO I'm getting into gear. I have a great summer to look forward to and I am not near my goal weight!!! sheesh! I need to get on the ball (as usual). I did find that doing major housework seems to do me better than the gym! Sounds strange but I seem to always loose when I do major house cleaning. I guess I will scrub on a more daily basis!

Hi Elizabeth-
I know exactly how you feel. I got on the scale today and couldn't believe there was a 1 lb loss. I've eaten like a slob this week. I had a 32oz (THATS 2 LBS!) bag of pretzels... the WHOLE bag, in just under 1 week. Just munchin, munchin away all week. The saddest part is that I didnt really eat anything else but the pretzels. Nothing else is staying down this week.. I got a cranky pouch!
I'm CRAVING girl scout cookies- Someone on the main board mentioned that the girls are out in full force! They better not come here or there's no stopping me. This is actually the first year in 10 years that I havent been a leader... I miss them (the cookies... not the kids
) so much

I still feel the "calling" to be a leader. I never really looked into it though. I got up to my silver award and never went for the gold. I dont know why. Puberty I guess LOL! Oh they are out in full force like I have never SEEN! I went to the wawa... and they got me there. THen I went to dunking donughts and they tried to get me there. I stopped at another wawa by my parents house and they got me there! they were camping out inside the WAWA!!! I just couldnt believe it. I totally caved and got a box of tagalongs (my absolute favorite!!!) a box of thin mints for my son and husband and a box of the lemon low fat cookies (they are great!) The tagalongs are totally gone. So are the thin mints...my husband devoured them!!! LOL he never had girl scout cookies before and had NO idea about the power of the cookie! Especially the thin mints!!! He just kept going back and forth to the kitchen and yelled "I JUST CANT STOP!!!" I just laughed and said... yep. I know...now give me a thin mint!
which he reluctantly did and returned to the kitchen to replenish the one he lost!
I am trying my best today to be extra good!
so far not too bad. Had cream of weat and a small veggie soup. some low carb chai. not too bad
oh and crystal light.
Its hard but I am determined! Best wishes!

NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check the labels on the Girl Scout cookies.
Some of them have 17 carbs in 9 cookies. If you can control yourself, you can eat some.
If you cannot control the urge, keep them out of the house of course.
The Lemon cookies have less carbs. We looked at the boxes today. At this moment I have resisted them but I do not promise it will stay that way forever.

Npbody said you can't eat a cookie once in awhile, you just have to
realize what got you to making this decision of surgery in the first place.
Lack of control. You have to think about what you are doing. do not
sabatoge what you have done so far. Eat 1 or 2 cookies then quit
throw that box away or let your husband & kids eat the rest. You have
to gain back the control that got the weight off in the first place.
You have worked too hard to throw that away. Hang in there!
