BACK FROM SAN DIEGO
Hi Everyone,
Just spent 4 days in San Diego with my Mother (82) she had not seen
me since 2 days after surgery in March 2004. Needless to say since I
have lost 135 lbs since then, she couldn't believe the difference in me.
She actually cried, fell apart with happy tears when I walked up to her
front door. Made me feel wonderful. I even lost 5 lbs on my trip so
now I am finally below that dreaded 200 lbs. YEAH!!! 
It was
nice to see people that don't see me everyday and told me how good
i look. WOW, what a moral booster the trip was. I hear it all the time
from people I work with, but this was a little different if you no what I
mean. I Even went on the USS MIDWAY that is now a museum & climb
4 flight of small stairs & samll doorways that I could not have done a year ago. It was awesom to be on that ship, San Diego has done an amazing thing witth it instead of just putting in the Moth Ball fleet,to be able to actaully see how so many sailors lived in its day. Was very neat indeed.
