WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE???
Well, it's 10:19 pm and I just got in the door from a long day. Work was long and then it was symphony night. The music tonight was from classic Hollywood and they played music from Psycho and The Magnificent Seven. All the way through The Magnificent Seven pieces, I just kept thinking "Beef, it's what's for dinner." No, I'm not food driven.
I'm still here, just pooped.

Connie

have a great weekend everybody!!!!!!
I've been here but not much time! Work has been busy. I did manage to help out in the cashier's office all week without messing anything up. We have a cashier out on vacation this week also, so even though the cash control supervisor will be back from his vacation, I'll be still doing the back office work to give him a chance to catch up on his own work, then he'll be on a window Wed-Fri so I'll STILL be in there!!! I did get a huge compliment from one of the cashiers this week though. She said she couldn't believe how well I had caught on to all the work and what a big help it was to them. If we weren't short staffed to begin with, one of the Cashier II's would step in to the supervisor's role while he's out, but we don't have that luxury being short a whole position, so as manager I stepped in. We have 3 locations to keep staffed and try very hard to always have two cashiers in each location. Unfortunately, that is not always possible. I am really good with the back office stuff, but it's going to be an unhappy day (for the customers) if I ever have to help with a window. And of course, when I am being a 'cashier' I am not getting my own stuff done.
I've got my vacation coming up ... we leave Wed night May 16 and return on the 29th. I REALLY need this trip. We will be busy, but I would be happy just to chill on the patio outside the motor home for the whole time!
I am scheduled to have the stent put in on June 11th and then the lithotripsy on June 14. I'll have to have an X-ray on the 13th so they have a current picture of the stone(s) they are blasting. Once they get through the first kidney, they will do the other side. I am soooooo not looking forward to this adventure ... but it might be nice to live without the constant 'ache'. I have a high pain/discomfort threashold so I am not sure what it is like to live without abdomdinal distress.
Ok, time to get on with my Sunday since the bridge walk was cancelled.
