i went to my surgery dr and he wasn;t happy with me because i only lost 16lb and he want it me to lose45lb he told me that may i strecth my pouch because in my blood work it show that i;m not dieting he got real strict withmebut for me not to stay in the house and told that i only have to eat 3 meal and only a quater cup and no nibblesand i was despress to start with and now i'm more despress he also told me to leave the house and start walking i want to see if i could find a JOB BECAUSE IT BEEN 10YRS THAT I HAVENT WORK AND I DO WANT TO HELP MY HUSBAND OUT SINCE HE THE BREAD WINNER IN THIS FAMILY has anybody been threw this i don;t understand how i could strecth my pouch please i need help

Lucia, it sounds to me like you need help with understanding your tool and settling on a program of health, whi*****ludes healthy eating and daily physical activity. I'm sorry you're depressed but you need to get yourself out of your blue funk (that American slang for depression) and find a therapist who specializes in weight related issues to help guide you and keep you on track. thank u maureen i start yerserday to walk my son to school insead of driving so for now on i;m walking my son to school it a long walk but i have to do what the dr order where could i find therepist that deal with weight loss how do i find one

I know me personally I started to feel a whole lot better once I got into a physical activity routine. Something about being active just makes a person feel better. Start with little steps and build. I started before my surgery going for 10 min walks. Then after surgery I upped that to 15 min walks. Now that it is almost a yr since surgery I walk for about 20 min with our lab puppy each day and go to the gym 3 days a week to do cardio workouts and weight training (to tone not bulk). Also yes it is possible to stretch the pouch. It is also very possible if you are always in the house that you are "grazing" nibbling a little here a little there and not realizing that with the nibbling it is still possible to take in a lot of calories and if you aren't burning those well the weight loss will start to slack off and you will eventually end up gaining. I also agree with the previous post about looking into a therepist that deals with weight issues. But you gotta get active. Trust me you will start to feel better once you do.

thank you dixie i start to walk my son yerserday to scool in the moring and i pick him up walking in the afternoon is like a 30min walk each way but at lease i start to walk also i did not gain any weight but the dr was not happy that i only lost 16 lb from the last time he saw me he saw me in oct 2004 and he saw me on 2\7\05 and he said that i only lost 16lb he expect to be 45lb or more so now he want to see me on 4\11\05 could you tell me how i could find a weight loss therepist so far on going on 11mos and i lost a total of 147lb from 443lb that i use to weight i think that pretty good but my dr want it to be more so let seen now that i start walking how much more will i lose in 2 week from tuesday
