YES...YES....YES...I was approved!!!!

Hi Guys, I received notice from my doctor yesterday that I was approved for both my tummy and breast. OMG!!!!!!!!....I am so excited about this....My doctor is still getting the paperwork together and the IPA that I belong to is contacting the plastic surgeon to make sure that everything will be in order.....I am very happy and excited about all of this and I hope that everything turns out ok.....I am still working on my before and after pictures and soon I will submit them so that you all can put a face to my name....so far I think I look ok...I am not so bad looking...ha-ha-ha!!!!...Well Guys - Wish me luck!!!!...I will update soon!!! Wonderful news, Edna! I have my PS consult on Monday morning (a Valentine's gift to m'self), and hopefully the surgeon will submit my request to insurance. Take care, and have a good day! -Marcie

I also have a consult next month, but the was told the surgeon does not go through insurance companies. I really want to cancel the appointment and go to someone who would at least TRY to get it approved. Actually, on this site, I've been hearing more and more about people getting approval from insurance companies. Question....how tall are you? I have to admit, I have a tummy but it is not big, my skin seemed to snap back pretty good. I doubt I'll be approved. Joan 5'6" 247/142/135

Edna, That's terrific! Congratulations! I have an appointment for March 31st for my consult. I decided to wait until after I get back from vacation and closer to goal. Please let us know what you had to submit for approval. Connie
