Extreme Makeover on Monday

Hi I just answered a post to Stacey about plastic surgery and decided to share my news with everyone. I go in on Monday for what my sister calls the "extreme Makeover from the neck down". I am having a tummy tuck, lower body lift, thigh lift and modified arm lift. I know that I will be in lots of pain but I am sure it will be worth it. I am self-pay and my doctor told me she would knock off 50% of each procedure that I added on so I said what the heck. Might as well go in once and get it over with. The whole thing including hospital and anesthesiolgist is costing around $10,000. Wish me luck, I post after the surgery and let you know how I am doing. Aristea 3/12/04 95 lbs

Good luck !!! You've got more nerve than I have. I'm a chicken when it comes to pain !! Let us know as soon as you can how you're doing. Judy

Aristea, Please do keep us posted as we are all pretty close to needing some or all of those procedures. Through information on this site from others is how I came around to having WLS for myself and it's been the best! Congrats on your "next steps"! CP
