Emergency Hospital Stay

First I just wanted to say thank-you to everyone that has wished me well for my upcoming revision surgery on Wed. the 2nd. I went for my lab work last Tuesday, and that night my surgeon called and said that I needed to come to the hospital immediately. My potassium was dangerously low 2.0 and it could cause my heart to stop at any time. OK now that you have my attention and I'm freaking out. I went to the hospital had IV's in both arms and was getting potassium and magnesium. Blood work every 6 hours, and each time something new because something else was too low. Including my blood pressure. Well, after 2 days everything was up and looking great. I left the hospital with a sore throat, fever and a prescription for antibiotics. It figures I go to the hospital and get sick. I ran 102 temp that night when I came home. I am feeling better now. I start liquids today and surgery on Wed. I sure will be glad when this is all done. As far as I know my sister Cheryl will update my condition, but just in case all the information is on my profile for the number and everything. Thank-you Connie for the offer I will try and find out for sure if my sister is going to do the update or not. Do you need any information besides what is on my profile and surgery page? If you do let me know. My sisters husband just had gallbladder surgery so I will have to check with her for sure. I will let you know as soon as I can. Thanks again to everyone.
