Surgeon said to go back to basics and what worked before, suggested the post op diet...she is not too concerned considering I have almost lost my 70%. I have definate issues with skin and my panni is so hard still too. I just had set goals for myself and it is really working on my nerves.

I have been stuck about the same amount of time weight goes up and down 2-3 lbs...... I stay on track change things around and still nothing helps....makes me feel so bad even tho I have lost 92lbs...... I would like to lose about 20 more started at 249 and now 156..... I don't know what to do but stay on track....its winter and maybe that has something to do with it.........there are lost of people that lose weight up to 18months out and further out so I guess we just have to keep up the program......stay away from carbs and drink tha****er.........I hope sooner than later it will start to come off again......... but I am in the same boat with you.............don't feel alone........ I can't say that I'm really stuck, but I am down to just losing a few pounds a month. I'm great about getting exercise and pretty good about food. My water intake could use some help the last couple of days. I do find that I get stuck at any weight that I previously spent a long time at. For example, in my twenties, I weighed 236 for the longest time. I plateaued at about 235 for about a month. In my late 30's, I spent about a year at 187 and I was stalled there for about a month. I'm starting to believe that losing weight for me is like having a baby. No matter how badly I want it off and no matter what I do, it's not coming off until it's ready. Connie

yep totally stuck. I swear I have to do a clear liquid diet in order to loose anything. Even if I eat to the t you know. I burned 450 calories yesterday in the gym and I know that my out vs in calories have been in check and i bet I wont loose a lick this week. its frustrating. im getting a bit toner in areas but no weight loss. AND I still have 80 pounds to loose!!! It sucks. I am trying very hard not to get really discouraged. But Im loosing faith here. I mean liquid diets are super hard! even if it is just for 2 days!!! 'sigh' been getting my protien vitamins and water too. ah well. I did slip and have grits the past 2 mornings but honestly that shouldnt hinder my weight loss. its all calories in vs calories out. i dont get it. studies should be done! (((Elizabeth)))) Didn't get that 10 lb drop for your birthday? I wish I could be sticking with you...us twins....but I'm doing everything I can to get to 199 by my anniversary date. That means I have cut back severely and I have lost weight. I hope you find it start to melt off you as well. I would love us to be back to within a couple pounds of each other!!! What I have done this last week has helped as I've dropped about 7 lbs in the last couple weeks. Part was a few pounds lost from having my period. The other part was me cutting back to bare bones and 4-5 of those lbs came off just this week. So maybe just giving it a couple days of protein drinks or something will help. I love the Protidiet ones because they aren't high in fat like the creamy ones. The Atkins shakes run over 200 calories each while these are 70. And they go down super easy, so they have been quite the lifesaver for me. Whenever I up my protein intake I start to lose more also. Email me if you want me to send you a sample. Maybe we can get you jump started! Dina 325/212/150
