Howdy
I've been so busy during the day that I haven't been able to post or even really get a chance to read who's posted what, so I thought I would start a post tonight!
I've gotten back into the gym routine ... well, at least today was day 3 of the 4:30 a.m. alarm and out of bed and to the gym I have to admit that I've had to resort to sleeping in my clothes again or I would just roll over and go back to sleep. I was pleased that even after two weeks off from the weights that I was able to handle where I was and not have to drop 5 pounds off. I'm doing the treadmill on a 'manual' course and walking about 3 mph but on an incline of 8. That kicks some butt (and 30/35 minutes burns just over 300 calories for me).
Monday and Tuesday I was busy 'helping' out in the cashiers' office. I can manage the back office work (I'm slow, but I can do it now without a panic attack). It's going to be REALLY sad if I have to work a window and wait on customers. I'm going to miss a meeting tomorrow to talk about the issues we are having with being short staffed and not being able to keep up with the work. We have asked for help and not received an answer and of course there's a hiring freeze on, so it's going to take a waiver to hire.
Tomorrow is the long awaited appointment with the urologist at 1:30. Of course, now I have no pain!!!! It figures but I need to get in there to see him and then maybe the NEXT time I have an attack, I'll be able to get in WHILE I am having pains!!! Of course, I couldn't get the CT scan redone Tuesday, so I have an appointment at 9:20 to have that done. I'll be running back and forth all over the County tomorrow. Between the CT scan and the Uro I have to get back down here to the bank and sign some paperwork!
Friday I'm off to an all day accounting conference. Meeting my boss at 7 a.m. to drive to College Park. The conference is starting earlier this year, but hopefully that means that we will get out of there before 5 p.m.
We are taking the RV out on Friday night to check out everything before we go away May 17. Originally, we had planned to go out Sat night May 5, but then we would miss the Bay Bridge Walk.
Ok, need to finish up getting dinner ready. Have a wonderful Wednesday evening.

There's a gal who posts a daily thread on the Main Board .. Did you Move to Lose Today ... she was the one who got me on concentrating on upping the incline. I had been going more for speed over a variable course. Kathy suggested that I would get more 'bang' for the time I have available doing the incline. I do notice it burns up more calories than the variable did.
