Checking in
Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well
I havent been on for a few days and just wanted to say hi and check in with all of you
Seems like most of us are doing quite well! (aside from our boobie issues)
I am stuck. as usual. I was out from work and didnt exercise as I was under the weather. I am back to work today and exercised...burned 355 calories Yippie! ugh its hard to get back into the groove!!! I find if I put anything in my mouth I just dont loose. grrr... no sugar and very little carbs. (fruit) love the fruit cant quit those carbs. I did that clear liquid thing aroudn the 18th for 2 days and lost 6 pounds. I didnt gain it back which was great but havent lost anything further. I guess not working out and just being down in the dumps and such doesnt help. SO I think every week I am going to do a clear liquid thing. Seems to jumpstart my loss. Just my personal experience. Get in my day of liquid protein shakes and such...and then eat healthy the rest of the week.
Hey Maureen thanks for your example of what you eat in a day...that really helps me out. I think I am going to pick up some lean cuisines myself and eat that for lunch. I am pretty good with lunch though as I eat a salad...but mixing it up always helps me out. You are SO right about snacking in between...Even if its good snacks...like protein bars or peanuts or what have you... I know if I eat the snacks I dont loose. Even if its good foods...heck we all know that some good foods equal calories (peanuts) and those protein bars have alot of calories. My doc told me no snacking in between my meals...its a chore to say the least but I am a grazer and thats my extreme challenge to break that habit (usually a night thing)
...when we all sit down from our hectic day...kids are finally put to bed and dinner has been served and dishes have been done etc.... we get that "mommy" moment to chill out and THATS when I graze... like tonight... american idol is going to be on and MAN thats my popcorn time!!!
... maybe I should just sing instead!!

'lizbeth, all we can do is keep on keepin' on. I think it was Joy *****cently posted that "we're done when we say we're done" -- or something like that. Wise, wise words. If we could just figure out how to beat those darn cravings!!! They come out of the blue, don't they??? Just when I think I'm good, no problems, no hunger, taking care of myself, working out...BAM, I'm hit with the overwhelming urge to EAT, EAT, EAT. Part of it is simply that the crap tastes so good! The other part is the emotional, anxiety, stress part that needs soothing and I have always soothed with food. I'm right there with you, as I'm sure so many of us are. I haven't lost a pound in a month....but I keep on keepin' on...what else is there to do??? Have a very good day, sweetie. Reenie
