They flow like water... girl topic
My 'girls' flow like water, literally. They are like zip lock bags filled 1/3 full and floppin' around. I can't buy a bra that's got form because when I bend over they flow right out the middle. I can't buy the ones that don't have 'form' because all those do is keep them from floppin' so much. I have tried on it seems a zillion of them and funny I'm never the same size from brand to brand or even from one style to the next! Makes it tough to find one that works well for me. My "Best Bras" came from my sister in law, they didn't fit her and they are the ONLY ones that work for me. Unfortunately I can't find any more like them and it's not for the lack of trying either.... What do I do my girls seriously need help! Maybe someone out there knows of a good Boob Camp to send them to????

P.S. I have found a way to control the outta control tummy flab. Control panties keep that nice and held in, firm if you will. Which means that my pants actually fit better.

Since I have not settled down in size, I have decided not to spend a lot of money. I have found that sears and Kmart have minimizer bra's. I do not pay attn to the namebrand. This kind scrunches it all together so it gets rid of the excess underneath my armpits and puts it more or less in the cup area and squeezes it all together. The cup area fits better and I am not "hanging" there when I bend over to flop out as they have done. I have mentioned to others that I feel like a cow with wrinkled udders now.
I also tell others, clothes hide a lot and I feel really good "dressed".
Gayle-
I had the same problem until I found the perfect solution to my baggy boobs...
Figh****er with more water... at least thats what I'm doing. I could
my cousin for introducing me to padded bras... especially those "water" bras. When I was still in the plus sizes (36 or larger), I was getting padded bras from Lane Bryant that actually had removable positionable, air pillows that I LOVE and now that I'm in a more normal size (36 or lower), I'm in love with the water filled bras from victoria secret and fredericks. The air pillows and the water push in the outside bottom and holds them firmly up in place. Just make sure you get measured for the correct cup size. All three of these stores do it for free. I was in a "D" and now, sadly, I have "watery" B's. If you wear the wrong cup size in this style, you look funny when you lean over, especially in a low cut shirt! You dont actually fill it in right but it doesnt show until you try to do something like bend over to tie your shoe... not a pretty sight
Try one on, tell me what you think!

Gayle,
I'm going to share waaaaay too much information here. Pre-surgery I was a 44/46 DD. It took three hands to cover one of my breasts completely. Don't ask.
I now wear a 38 DD and it takes about two and a half hands to cover one breast. I haven't quite figured this out. It takes less hands to cover a boob, yet I'm still spilling out of the same cup size. If I go up a cup size, I swim. If I go down a cup size, my cup runneth over.
I don't seem to have lost as much volume as I thought I would, but gravity is in full effect. We're not talking about quality boobage here.
I'm having a heck of a time finding a bra that fits well. I don't want to spend a fortune because my boobs seem to have become shape shifters. What I've found so far is some foam/underwire bras from Wally World for about 10.00.
This reminds me of a Maxine cartoon that says, "My favorite bra is a sweatshirt."

Gosh, I can relate to the bra thing! I've tried on a million of them. I went from a 38D to a 36C. I ended up at Victoria's Secret. They have people there that will measure you and tell you the best bra for your figure. The problem with that is the bras are so expensive! I HOPE my bra size doesn't get any smaller. Because I'm kinda small up top, I've gone to the padded uplift sort of bra. But reading other posts on this thread, I'm thinking about those water thingies...that sounds like a good idea.
Here is my 2 cents worth on bras.....I went from a 46DD to a 36DD, now I havent quite figured out why the cups arent any smaller, but none the less they are much floppier and longer. I had tried on every bra made by every company and still no great fit, until I found a Bali bra, underwire, with light padding, the bra style is called seductive curves. It is a very simple bra, that lifts them to the sky. The first time my husband saw me wear it under a fitted tshirt his eyes popped out, he said it looks like I had the most awesome breast lift. My 14 year old sons comment was "That is nasty, Moms just shouldnt look like that, especially mine" All the more reason to wear thta wonderful bra!! I found mine at Elder-Beermans, the suggested retail is $30.00 but I got it on sale for 18.50 or so. I know JC Pennys carries Bali as well. I tried other Bali styles on and none of them had the effects of this particular style. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Janelle
P.S. Best of luck gettin 'em up!!!!!
Well ladies..can we talk??? This sight as been so wonderfull aways can find an answer to any question that Ive got and now I've got to comment about the bra situation. I was a 46DD at the time of surgery. Being in my early 50's (52) an havng had 3 children things had been heading south for along time. Now almost 10 months after surgery & 106 pounds lighter I am now wearing a size 34D. The "girls" are still heading south but they are so much smaller now. And when its cold they look almost normal! Now I wonder if the guys who have this surgery...welllll....this might be an odd question...gee can anyone help me out here??? Well gee do they lose it down below? Ok I'm only curious an I have to say that I've noticed a big difference down below to. I knew I'd lose weight all over but didn't really think it would go there you know? Anyone else noticeing this oddity?
