BEING BOLD UPDATE

Thought some of you would be intested in an update.. The guy at work has someone in his life. So I do not have to get bold with him. Last night I went to get my hair colored and cut. The hairdresser knows of someone who is single and she tried to call him.. He apparently was not home as he did not answer and did not call back. The best news though is that she had some clothes too big for her that she was looking for a new home. And I got them. I tried them on and had a fashion show in the shop. They are size 8 and 10. It will not be long until the 8's fit and the 10's fit better. And she has more to give me!!!! She sings in a Gospel Quartet and these are really nice dresses. I am so excited about the clothes. I have been giving and giving clothes away and my resources of clothes had ran out. Perfect timing.

Well, Darlin' that's his loss! Look what he's missing out on, and in those purty clothes too! Fer shame, fer shame! That's O.K. though, there's one out there for you.... you might have already met him! Your turn is coming! L&H Gayle

Oh Gosh, can I certainly relate to the man situation! I'm waiting for my friend to get a little bolder....he's showing the signs of it. As I mentioned before, he is my daughter's drama teacher and when we first met 3 years ago, he was married and I was fat. Now he's not married and I'm not fat and we've gotten to be good friends. But, living in a small town like this, word spreads, and I've heard he's interested in me...but is only 5 months out of his last marriage and is still recovering. It seems all of our friends think we'd be great together...a lot of people already think we're dating because we're together alot. So, for now...it's the waiting game. It's killing me! Maybe I need to go out and buy more clothes...that always makes me feel better! Enjoy YOUR new clothes! Joan

Hey, Joanie, it's simple: ask the guy out! Go bowling or to a movie, something totally non-threatening -- tell him you enjoy his company and you feel very comfortable with him...go for it! Reenie
