How fast or slow are you losing?

Rhen, I too had my surgery on march 8th... I am not nervous about my anniversary date coming, I am so pleased with how things have gone so far, (down 120 bouncing around 125) I don't want to take anything for granted. I am happy with myself if I don't lose another pound. I have changed the way I eat, and I have started my new life style and I feel so good inside, I am not going to fret over the pounds that are bouncing back and forth each month. I remember not that long ago, I prayed for the miracle of this surgery, and a way to "be normal" and healthy I will never for get where I came from. (This is my self I am talking at, no one else). On the days that I feel I can't eat enough, I just dust myself off and know that the next I will start again. Good luck on your journey, and God Bless... LM

Hi! My surgery date was March 25,2004. As of right now I am down 137 pounds. I started at 352 and I weigh in at 215. My goal on the scale is 175. However I have reached my size goal. I am in a 14 and regular old large. No more plus sizes. I was even able to buy a pair of jeans from the juniors section. Of course we want more.I am loosing way more slowly now. Down to 2 pounds per week. I may never get to 175 but I am finding that just being "normal" and "average" regardless of what the scale reads is happiness in itself! Don't despair over what's not here, celebrate your journey! Kym was/am/wannabe 352/215/175 Size 28,3X's to little to size 14,plain large
