March Surgery...de ja vu?

Hi Marchers-- Here we are at the crossroads of reaching 1 YEAR since our surgeries...wow what a year it has been...right? Starting as a lightweight, the 6 month window pretty much was my losing months and I stabilized within 17 pounds of goal 3 months ago...I think I could probably work a little harder but am so happy in my size 10 jeans that I didn't feel the need...just enjoying life and getting ready to retire now. Here's the ironic part...I have a large ventral hernia rearing its ugly body...but the silver lining is I may get a tummy tuck approved along with the repair...Here I am at the same point I was last year...excited and scared all at the same time...De Ja Vu! The Plastic surgeon is submitting the letter of medical necessity and pictures (egad...ugly) to the insurance company and I am playing the wait game again....Wouldn't it be weird if I got the same date? I am actually hoping for Feb this time so I can retire to AZ in March. Sally

Thanks Elizabeth...love your picture! You look great. I am not really at goal...but if this is as good as it gets I am ok with it...maybe with the hernia repair, TT and a little Lipo I will be almost there...138 says "normal" on the BMI and that is what I am shooting for even though I feel normal now. WOW Elizabeth - it's been awhile since I've been on this board, and you look awesome!!!! And yes, I know I've got to get a new picture on here - I've been told I don't look like this anymore. One of these days. Marla
