Does this still happen???/
Hi Guys,
I was just wondering....the first few months after surgery there would be times when I would stop losing and I was told that it was normal because our body (skin) was trying to catch up with the weight loss....so instead of losing pounds I was losing inches.....It seems that for me this is still happening....I have been at 145lbs - 147lbs wearing a size 10 pants - medium tops - now I can fit inot a size 9 pants and small tops...how did that happen????....I have not really measured myself...it's weird because I have always associated my clothes size with my weight...meaning - if I am 145lbs I should be a size 10 but I guess the inches also matter and at this point I am a size 9....I don't know....I am very happy about the change in clothes size but what is actually happening????

I know what you mean about the weight and clothing sizes not matching the way they used to.
Before I gained weight I was a 9/10 and weighed 145-150. Now I weigh 164 and I'm a 10. That just doesn't make sense. I would think it would be the other way around, since as we get older we lose muscle mass.
Oh... maybe it's because I wear misses and not juniors now. They are cut different, right? Yeah, yeah, that's got to be it.
Well, hey! Thanks for letting me talk amongst "myselves".
