What are your eating habits?
I'm just curious, especially since I still have trouble keeping meat down sometimes. I'd love to hear from everybody!
What are your favorite good foods?
How much can you eat at a time?
Do you have foods you can't tolerate?
What are your bad food habits?
I eat quite a bit of cheese and nuts and drink No Sugar Added Nestles Quik in milk to up my protein amounts. I do drink lots of water, also.
Most days I can eat almost a child's serving, but some days I can't.
I don't tolerate plain, dry meat well. Soft breads & pasta don't work. Fast food has not been very good to me either.
I snack too much--crackers & sweets in limited quantities. I need to cut them out altogether!

What are your favorite good foods?
My safe food is Snow Crab Legs - Love them and my pouch LOVES them and I eat them (1/2 pound) every chance I get...which is several times a month. Otherwise just about any type of protein...meat, nuts, cheese etc...
How much can you eat at a time?
Absolute max is 1/2 cup...most comfortable with 1/3. I can DRINK a whole lot more than that at one time....love my Arizona Diet Green Tea.
Do you have foods you can't tolerate?
Starches - White rice, Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti, white breads...all make me DUMP!!!!
What are your bad food habits?
I always have to have something sweet after a meal. A SF popsicle, a SF cookie, a SF piece of candy...something...anthing sweet. I know it's a left over problem from before WLS but I can't seem to change it.... I try hard to make it a "good" choice for a "bad" habit.

uhm...seafood mostly tuna steaks, salmon, crab

uhm not sure...my dinner tonight was 4oz of salmon and a spoonful of greenbeans(the large "tablespoon")
I am basically back to before standards with how much I can drink at one time tho...

pasta, more than 1 piece of bread a day...( I take 1/2 sandwich for lunch)

Hi there...
Things like chicken and beef and salmon fill me up very quickly. Cottage cheese and the low carb yogurt are very pouch friendly for me. I LOVE my Carb Well Ceral bars, and the protein crunch cookies they advertise on this site. I can eat some bread and pastas but it doesn't really sit well and fills me up so I can't eat the protein, so I stay away (maybe 2 or 3 french fries or a couple of forkfuls of pasta). If baked potato is served I won't eat it at all. Peanut butter has been good for me as well. My pouch and digestive system cannot tolerate sugar alcohol, but everyone is different. I am not a big water drinker, so during the day I hydrate on decaf tea, no milk with one spenda. I cannot drink anything cold in the winter, as it gives me a chill, so there is always a mug in my hand. Shrimp and crab legs have also been user friendly for my pouch. Crackers and pretzels don't upset my pouch but make me feel blah. I always have been a coffee drinker, but I limit it to one in the morning and one mid afternoon. Ate fast food once, Burger King Jr with no bread. Fast food is not something I normally would eat.

My Eating Habits are as follows...
Favorite foods are shrimp, can eat 6-8 med. crab meat,
cottage cheese, pork chops (grilled) , favorite snack Popcorn,(this is my snack for the eve.)
I can sometimes eat "out of control", then the next day, I will not eat hardly anything. I sometimes think I over eat, but then again, compared to my past eating habits, it really is nothing to worry about.
I can too eat a good childs plate, the more things I eat solid, the less I can eat, if its soft and mushy, I can eat alot more.
BEEF...OMG...can not eat any type of beef, gets stuck, no matter how much I chew chew chew... So I gave up along time ago, and now just pass it up. My mind wonders..."Wheres the Beef?"... almost a year since a Big Mac... amazing that I really don't miss it like I thought I would.. but I do eat chicken nuggets, bout 4.
I love candy made with splenda...but try and eat it just like once a week. I bought Diet vanilla Pepsi, had my fill of it, then the rest sits around the kitchen gathering dust on the bottles...sometimes I think its a mental thing, and if I know I can have it when I really crave it, I don't want it as much.

Hi Everyone,
unfortunately, I can eat just about anything & it does not make me
dump, unless I eat too fast. I found that I can also eat sugar which
is real scary at times. During the holidays I ate a lot of junk I shouln't
have & it did not make me sick. For six months I did not even try sugar
then I did & now know its o.k. so sometime i get a little carried away.
That scares me to death. My weight loss slowed for awhile, but its
moving again as I went back to mostly protien & very little carbs, I
have lost 130 lbs without much exercise as well. I really should, but don't
seem to find time.(nice excuse) but true. I am back to measuring my food
& I try not to snack at all. that is the hard part. I eat chip, but won't
do popcorn as my doc says it will stretch your pouch or possibly get stuck
because of the kernals.I do miss that, I really like popcorn. I will stop
mumbling now. Sorry I got kind of carried away today. I haven't been
on board for awhile. Been busy,
