STupid scale!!! Says I'm 3 pounds heavier today. I know I'm sure its water weight but I just hate that! Working my butt off in the gym and seeing that. Ick! Well after seeing that I burned 450 calories in the gym!!! NOT going to gain tomorrow! I had a little salad with shrimp and thousand island dressing... very small. I am determined to get this stupid weight off now. I did screw up this morning and eat grits. Which I SWORE yesterday I was not going to do... but alas...
Welp tomorrow is another day...again I say NO GRITS! NO PATS OF BUTTER! I did do well with the half and half though. I had 2 containers instead of 4! you know the little creamers. Still NOT what I wanted to do. Well we will see how the evening goes. If I can make it through tonight I will be good to go! Going shopping tonight and getting me some healthy protein food! I just have to remember...no snacking no snacking no snacking... boy I wish my hunger would just go away! grrr...

This probably won't make you feel any better, but muscle holds water. Most trainers won't weigh you after you workout because the scale will show a gain after a work out. That's probably what you're seeing. After a really good workout, it usually takes a day or two to see a difference on the scale.
Keep going girl. I think you're doing great. It's a long haul, but you['ll get there.

I didnt know that muscle holds water That makes me feel better then I am really using that fitday and logging EVERYTHING as far as activity goes... from sitting to washing the dishes to eating to cleaning to even driving. then that gives me an idea of the calories out vs the calories in. That fit day is a great tool! I am so determined ... I just hope I start seeing the scale move .. I hate getting discouraged you know. I was actually thinking about you when I was working out!!! When you said you did 500 crunches! woooo... thats alot! I am going to go home and then do some crunches! My mom bought me pilates tapes for Christmas. I'll have to hook up the vcr in my sons room and do some pilates! I never did them before but I definitely need to move at home too so that way I dont have to be such a freak over everything I eat. Well I will still be a freak about that but it wont be as bad if I do slip up Thanks for the info! :0)

Hey, Elizabeth, be VERY proud of your renewed commitment and determination! I'm not losing lbs. either, but I am losing inches, I can feel it and my clothes fit differently. Usually when this happens, the scale stays the same for a long time and then WHOOOSH, I drop 4-5 lbs. overnight! Don't despair, sweetie, just keep doin' what you're doin' and you will reap the rewards! Just keep this thought in your head: I LOVE me enough to take the BEST CARE of me! You're worth it!!! Maureen
