I've taken it with no ill effects, but I'd ask your doctor if I were you...

Yep...you can...Tylenol PM is just tylenol with Benadryl in it. It never did a thing for me but it's worth a try. Va

My surgeon said that I can take any type of Tylenol product. I've taken Tylenol PM and had no ill effects. Connie

Deb, My surgeon recommended tylenol P.M. to me after surgery, as I was still in a lot of pain and had a lot of trouble sleeping. Nick

Debbie, I've been taking Tylenol with codiene (spelling?) right before bed because of a terribly painful hip. Initially, I was able to take it without any ill effects whatsoever; lately, when I take it, about 1/2 hour later I get a searing, burning pain in my central chest area (pouch country) that has scared the hell out of me. It passes after about 10 minutes...and my pouch gets very noisy during this time of intense pain -- so it doesn't sound good. I've stopped taking it and now am left with totally sleepless nights because of my pain. I have a call in to my surgeon's office but so far no response. Has anyone else had problems like this? Good luck! Maureen
