Exercise Challenge

I want to issue an exercise challenge: Lets move these great bodies of ours at least 5 days out of 7, and be accountable for reporting in and telling what we did. I just did 5 minutes of situps, followed by 25 minutes on my Gazelle. This has got to help reach my anniversary goal! (At least maybe flatten out my stomach a bit!) Joy

Joy, I'm in! This morning I've done 1,000 leg lifts (500 each leg) and 500 crunches. I'm on my way to the gym now to get my cardio in. I've got a big calendar on the wall and I'm going to log what I do each day. Connie

I am in on this!!!! I had resolved to keep exercise one of my focuses in 2005 so this will help in many ways!!! Today we left a hotel after a holiday weekend get away and I used the exercise room everyday we were there; 2 miles onthe treadmill, 2 miles on the recoumbent bike, and then all the exercise I got playing football and splashing in the pool with my 7 kids! It was a GREAT start to 2005! Janelle P.S. I am going to pick up on Connies idea of posting a calander and writing my exercising on it. GREAT IDEA and MOTIVATOR

I'm never on the computer anymore, but I wanted to pipe in here! I got out of "gym sync" since my vacation over Thanksgiving and it's really kicking my butt. Tomorrow is my new start. I only have 7 lbs to my goal. I HAVE to do this by March!!! I'll be back at the gym at 5:00 tomorrow morning. Karla

I WON'T be out of bed at 5 am, Karla, but will take my gym clothes to work for a Curves workout at lunch! (I just did my 30 min of leglifts/gazelle). Glad to have you working out with us Karla! Joy

I did 50 minutes on the elliptical at the gym this morning. Burned 655 calories! Then I did 15 minutes of abs. Karla
