Resolutions
1. I wasn't sure in January that I would be approved for surgery, so my resolution was to lose 75 lbs. I am 122 lbs down from my highest.
It was also to finish school. I found out I already had enough credits to graduate - just had a bad advisor who kept refusing to grant me graduate status - I fought for my rights and got my degree. I have also gone back to school to get my Master's degree in Special Education, and I quit a dead end job to go to work substitute teaching (great training for when I get my own classroom!) And I learned to stand up for myself.
2. I hope in 2005 to make it to goal - 168, to get established my own classroom, to continue working on my master's degree and teaching certification, and to become more financially liquid.

I wouldn't call them resolutions. For me it's more like a lifestyle adjustment.
For 2004 I had hope to reach at wt loss of 130. I think I hit that goal, but fell off by 1-2 pounds. I don't mind though, there's a reason for those pounds sticking around. I call it PMS!! Haha!
For my 1 year anniversary I want to lose a total 170 pounds, that is an additional 40 pounds, it can be done!! I'm adding more workout sessions, and altering my diet, going back to the basics.
If I'm successful in reaching my first goal, I hope to lose another 30-40 pounds by the end of 2005.
Good luck to you in the new year!

-130 lbs forever!
My resolutions....hmmmm....lets see:
1) To lose another 10 to 15 lbs, which would have me weighing about 135lbs. I'll be happy if I stay between 135 and 140 lbs.
2) EXERCISE. With my work schedule, it makes it next to impossible. I work 10 to 12 hour days, and when I am off, being a single parent, I have so much to do...
3) And on that note...look for a new job where I work less hours and have time to live my life and enjoy myself. I've been a sales rep for 5 years now, but I have 16 years experience as a healthcare administrator, so perhaps go back into hospital work. I also have a lot of background in computers, so I would not mind getting a position as a trainer or something like that.
Three biggies but I can do it!!!
Sherrie,
I have the same resolution that everone else does to get to goal, but I have one more. Get more sleep. I don't seem to need more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep, but I've been reading a lot of studies lately that say that not getting enough sleep screws up your hormones and throws off weight loss. I'm going to give the sleep thing a shot. I'm aiming for at least 6 hours a night.

1. For 2004 - I tried to keep it simple - just to focus on my health w/o any specifics. Was too afraid of 'failing' again. Happy to say that my focus is/was my health this past year and I'm tons better off now than I was a year ago.
For 2005:
2. Be consistent with my exercise routine. We do go regularly, but I tend to bail out at least once a week - so I'm not getting the benefit that I could.
3. Conceive and have a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby.
4. If #3 doesn't happen right away - to participate in a mini triathalon in May - 500 yd swim, 11 mile bike ride, 3 mile run/walk. I can do each individually - so much work on my endurance to put them together - hence #2!
Thanks! - Feels good to put them on paper.
