strange sounds from below

the past week i have been having strange sounds on the left side of my stomach. it is a loud girguling. I am seeing the doctor in a few dys, because it worries me. Does anyone else have a stomach that is making noise???

Yes always! In fact I am asking my doc about it today because I was thinking that when I ate I would automatically right away feel the gurgling and hear the gurgling which made me think it was draining out of my pouch right away which caused me to wonder if my stoma was enlarged!! I am sure I am being paranoid though but its always good to check Elizabeth M

When you guys figure out what it is, let us know. I never really thought about it, but as I was sitting here reading your posts, the left side of my tummy was gurgling. Connie

yes, count me in. it is so loud that others can here it! i say that my pouch is talking to me. lol

my tummy doesn't make noise but i make small "roar/purr " sounds like a baby lioness ( My DH says!) instead of belching- mostly when i drink milk or something with milk in it- or drink too fast! it's embarrassing!

My stomach makes loud noises, about 60-120 minutes after I eat. Every week I get together with friends who had surgery with my doctor & hospital and we have dinner before we go to a support group meeting. One night, ALL THREE of our stomachs were grumbling at the same time, during the meeting - everybody could hear it. I don't know if it's the pouch or the original stomach grumbling in frustration. I do think it's normal, though. Jen
