Corset and little black dress

I have to share here because I can't explain this to my local friends - they just wouldn't get it! My anniversary is 1/2 and hubby and I are going out for dinner and have reserved a jacuzzi suite! Yipee! So I figure that I had better dress up a bit. Went a bought a little black dress - size 12! Yipee again! Well then of course I need heels - check, decided I wanted (shock! awe!) thigh-highs - check. But wait - what about foundation? While I'm shopping for the thigh highs I ask about corsets - might as well try something different, huh? OMG! LOVED IT! So I bought it. If you have never tried a corset then you must try one of these one! It is amazing - squeezes things into the right place and form. My rocks in socks girls now look like melons on top of my chest rather than at my belly button. A very feminine feeling - and actually pretty comfortable. I swear his eyes will pop out of his head. You strut your stuff!!! One of my girlfriends wants to take me to have my belly button pierced. I didn't even know I had one until recently...hahahaha!

I went out and bought my first New Year's Eve ensemble in YEARS yesterday. What a feeling to be able to buy a celebration dress. I got a tulip shaped velvet skirt, rather slim then a flare, and little bolero jacket. The jacket was an item I would have avoided like the plague in the old days and it was hugely on sale because, well, because a lot of people have that problem. What an amazing event that it was the right thing for me. My purchases have, of necessity, included a lot of business clothes, not many glad rags. It was so cool and I did also buy new underwear. I found a great hotel room deal on the Internet, so woohoo, maybe I'll go back for lingerie today. 265/158/145?
