I'm totally crazy right now !! I started tasting of sugar the first of Dec. and I've been out of control ever since !!! Soooooooo for my New Year's Resolution I'm going back to eating chicken, turkey , salmon and tuna , soy burgers and low fat cheese. I'm going to ride my cardioglide everyday and walk on my tread mill 30 minutes a day. I have 20 more pounds to lose and I have not lost any in Nov. or Dec. We know we can do it, so let's do it !!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year , Judy

I seem to be holding at 180-182 for the last month - so I would think this is my first plateau - for that I feel lucky. I think it has something to do with the winter months also. I do go exercise, but I haven't been making it on a steady schedule for about a month now. When I'm craving a sweet treat I make some protien balls. Peanut butter, cream cheese, splenda, choco protien powder - mix it all up until it is crumbly - add some grape nuts for crunch - and form into balls. Keep chilled. Loves these. protien packed snacks with a bit of sweet. Merry merry! Leah 302/180/140ish

Have you read the Pouch rules for dummies?? Look down at the bottom of the post page and on the 16 of December the was a lady that posted. Open that and read the pouch rules for dummies. I foun it very useful and there were some great tips in there even with being 9.5 months post-op as we are. Let me know what you think. Nick

Yvette, the only advice I can offer is to follow your doctor's advice! Lay off the carbs -- only source should be veggies and an occasional piece of fruit; pick up the exercise, and stay motivated! Easier said than done, don't I know it. God bless and be well, Maureen
