guess what I did???
I slept in my daughter's new bed with her!
Now this isn't a MAJOR deal at 172 pounds but last year at 291 I would have been afraid to climb up and get on her loft bed for fear of it breaking or getting stuck!
Now I have to sleep in my son's bed with him, something that i haven't done in the 2 years we have lived in this house.
I am so excited!
My husband just rolled his eyes when I was all excited about it!
WHATEVER!
He doesn't get it!
OK...thanks for letting me share my excitement with you!

Oh, but it IS a major deal! When we can do things that we could not do before, it always feels like a milestone, no matter how small it may seem to someone else. And, no, if you've never been there, you don't get it. Being able to fit our little bodies in places our big ones would not fit is a cause for celebration, and thankfulness.
Happy and healthy holiday season to all!---Joan
