I will be 9 months out as of the 23rd-R U still doing a protein shake daily?
I'm new to this site, but I'm also 9 months out and down 100 lbs. I was told by my nutritionist that after a while, most of your protein should be taken in as solid foods. I still have the protein shake for when I don't get enough in and my bloodwork has been fine. Has anyone else heard this? Thank you, Joan

I have noticed that my greatest losses are during the times when I have consistently drank my protein shakes. I do them for breakfast. When I neglect them, I do not lose, even if I consume fewer calories. I know I don't get as good a nutrition either, so I am trying to keep doing them. I only do one a day, but the unjury protein in skim milk = 28 grams of protein.
