ok so now tha ti'm back posting i just can't shut up! new guy came tonight inthe corvette to take me to dinner. I'm totally in awe of this stupid car. It is powerful it is intimidating. it is frightening. We've been going out for a couple of months now and he normally drives an audi. I'd seen the vet under its winter blankey but this was the first time he drove up in it. It was a nice sunny day in CT just perfect to take his toy out for a ride. OH my god that car can fly! No he didn't go crazy with it. But just going 0 to 70 on the entrance ramps of the highway in a matter of minutes was a kick. Even for me who doesn't go on any of the scarey rides at Disney! He kept to the speed limits becasue he likes the car and doesn't want them to take it away! It handles very nice. I do have to say I would never own one. Never. I can't afford it! Plus it intimates me way to much. I'd be afraid to drive it! Its so low to the ground! Back before surgery I'd have plopped into it. The bottom of it would have scrapped on the highway. You ahve a different attitude in that kind of car. When I saw what we were gonig to be going out in I grabbed the nice leather coat instead of my regular coat! Let me tell you I was glad that I had dressed up! And also thankful I didn't wear a dress! ahhh it was fun.

Pammy, Zoom cars are fun. I bought one last month and though I miss my truck like mad, I'm having fun in the little zoomer. I've peeled out at least 5 times without meaning to and I can't tell you how many times I meant to. I never would have bought this car before weigh loss because I wouldn't have been able to get in and out. I would have had to roll out on the ground and pull myself up by the bumper. You may as well have strapped a skateboard to my ass and pushed me downhill. Hugs, Connie Hey, BTW... I didn't forget about your lamp. I'm not good enough to repair stuff yet, but I'll let you know when I am. I'm thinking about taking a stained glass lamp class and when I do, I'll let you know when to send the lamp. Right now, I'm still working on window panels. C.

I so love vets. My favorite being corvette stingray 1969... beautiful car. THEY ARE LOW TO THE GROUND ARENT THEY? I remember getting into one and ... like you said plopping down into the seat. It was a beautiful white vet. You felt like you were on the floor but damn you felt cool in there! They are beautiful cars and nice when your man is driving and showing of "just a bit" FUN!
