WHAT'S WORKING FOR YOU?
Connie, have you talked with your PCP or surgeon about your stall? I sense in your post that you are not only very frustrated but feeling pretty blue about this; that's not my Happy Girl! Many of us seem to be feeling the same things, especially fear that this might be it, no more weight loss. Why don't you give your surgeon a call and relate what's going on with you and see what his/her take is on this. Let us know. In the meantime, keep doing what you're doing, take good care of yourself and try not to weigh yourself for at least a week. See what happens, ok? We're all in this together and feeling the same things! Take care, my friend. Maureen
Some days I can et regular foods with smaller portions. some days Ican hardly eat at all. I do not have any rhyme or reason for this other than must be the type and texture of food.
I eat almost anything I want exclusing fried foods and high suguared foods. I can eat fried if I am careful and a less smaller amount. I am still loosing weight but it is much slower and that is ok with me.
I decided to not sweat about this weight loss. Try to do what is sensible and not worry do much and it seems to work for me.
I seem to be doing the same thing as Louise. I am also 5'7, and down to 136. My goal was also 150
I feel that I eat like a "normal" person now. I eat everything in moderation and yes that does include the snacks that I choose to eat. I don't count calories or anything like that, I found that when I did, I was just to stressed. I do however count the sugar, I stay within 12 grams of sugar per my dietitian. I eat when I'm hungry and thats it. What I do seems to be working for me just fine. I feel that If I keep up with this lifestlye (I know I will) then I will do just fine and they weight will stay off.
