a WL moment - at least I will take it that way!!
I had to go to my 8 year old son's school yesterday for a teacher conference about his bad behavior. I heard several gasps when I walked in which I always have (used to be about my enormous size) so I didnt think anything of it. My son told me today, though, that he was so proud that I was his mom yesterday - all his friends said, "WOW! your mom isnt a fat ugly monster anymore!" - ok so its not so flattering - from a group of 3rd graders its pretty good!

Ah, Sherrie, you savor this moment as much as you can! Hey, kids tell it like it is, that's what's so wonderful about them! Of course, rudeness should never be tolerated but in this case, they were simply being honest in their very real feelings of happiness for their friend, your son. Have a great day and thanks for making mine! Maureen
Wow! It sounds like some of the kids could use a lesson or two on appreciation of people, acceptance and compassion.
Beautiful people come in all shapes and sizes!
You're doing a wonderful job, but I'm certain you were just as fabulous before you started losing weight.
Words are painful. We all need to remember our pre-weight loss journey to help others in their struggles.
Smile,

Ugh little brats heh.
But your right...coming from 3rd grade boys thats about right! Somehow that nasty comment in THEIR "little brat" universe translates to a compliment
Hang in there with the behavior issue, I know its hard dealing with these little guys! (((HUGS))) you ARE doing great mom
And looking great!
