Kidney and Gallbladder Problems

Yes I'm alive....just like A man I come back when I need somethen I've been having major side pains and went to the doctor.....he had me have a ultrasound today. He only asked for my right kidney to be looked at butthe ultra sound lady did my kidneys, gallbladder and bladder and she took tons of pics. Then I get to work and I do a little research and look up pictures of gallstones...sure enough! AUGH Anyone else having these kind of problems? PS Im down to 136!!! That is from highest 142 and at surgery I was at 220. Im happy ....I actually slipped into a size one!!!!! Im pretty sure that its a type-o but I had to buy them anyway! I wear mostly 7's..... Anywho....Let me know!

Alicia, I had my gallbladder out after I had my second child 11 years ago, so I didn't have that to contend with this time around. What are your kidney problems, what are your symptoms and what has caused the issues? I remain concerned about the high levels of protein we have to eat every day as I know too much protein over the long term can wreak havoc on the kidneys. Anyone else's take on this? Let us know what your doctor is recommending to fix these problems for you. Maureen

gallbladder problems are definitely NOT fun. Thankfully I had mine out before surgery so I was good to go. WOW size ONE!!! too cool! I will probably NEVER see that size but thats ok Who knows maybe one day! I can always hope! Elizabeth M
