Hi all,
It has been a while, I don't post much, I usually just read. I am going to try to be around more often.
I can hardly believe it has been eight months already. I had Lap RNY with Dr.Quioco in Roanoke, Virginia. I have lost 105 pounds and I feel super. No problems or complications what so ever.
I am so close to my goal weight that it scares me, I keep thinking, what then? Maintaining a normal, healthy weight is what I fear the most. How are you all working on this issue? I would love some tips.
Well, I am being called away by my husband, take care.

Cyndi,
I went to my support group last night in Las Vegas, & found that most
of us that had surgury in March seem to be going thru the same things.
Slower weight loss, Liking food more than before, depression along with
being happy with the weight loss being depressed about being able
to eat more than we think we should be. It was good to talk it out
with my group. I don't go often as I should as its hour & half drive from
where I live. Hang in There, we will all keep losing and be able to main-
tain just fine as long as we keep doing the right things & don't
get COMPLACENT IN WHAT WE ARE DOING. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU
PUT IN YOUR MOUTH, HOW WELL YOU FEEL AFTER YOU EAT IT. HOW
WILL YOU FEEL IF YOU PUT IT OUT OF YOUR MIND AND EAT THAT HEALTHY SNACK INSTEAD. . Words to Live by, from my Doc & my
Weight loss group. Have a safe & healthy Holiday & you are doing great.
I have also lost 126 lbs in 8 months. We are all losing about the same.
