OK, it wasn't pretty, but I sqouzed my butt into a pair of size 12 leather pants this morning. I almost cried - and not from pain. Maybe they didn't look that bad, but there was certainly some real estate hanging over the top. The pants were on clearance for 5 bucks about 4 months and I figured that if I never got into them, I'd only be out 5.00. It's just now starting to get cool here so maybe I'll really get to wear them before winter is over. I've been pretty bummed because I've hit the same plateau as just about everyone else. In spite of eating well and practically living at the gym, the weight just does not seem to want to go away. Fitting into these pants convinced me that even if the pounds aren't moving, inches must be. A month or two ago, I couldn't get those pants up over my thighs, much less snapped and zipped. Connie

Size 12...unbelieveable! I adore you, too, sweetie -- you're the one that's kept me motivated to keep my butt moving, you are so dedicated to your workouts. Keep it up, Connie, size 12 is just up from size 10, and then size 8, and then....by the way, you look gorgeous! Maureen

WOW!!! That is just incredible! Congratulations Connie - you are doing so well! I kind of got that same feeling this weekend when I was able to put on a pair of old 18's (the equivalent of 16W now...other 18's on me are very loose) in some jeans. I was able to get them zipped up without even sucking in, and even wore them all day long. Incredible to me just being out of the 20's..... Dina

CONGRATULATIONS!! Size 12 in Leather, the most non-giving fabric known to man!!!! That's something to get excited about! I'm with you on the overhang downer. I'd be really cute if I could wear the size pants my behind wants to be in without getting a permanent mini-Michelin above the waistband. Oh well, I've decided to "roll" with it.. ha-ha It IS diminishing, I've lost more than 12 inches off my bust, waist and hips, it IS working. I was on a plateu for about six, maybe even seven weeks. It JUST broke - I know yours will too. Should be any day now, hang in there! Jen

Congratulations Connie!! I think that in some ways, the smaller clothes are a better indicator of progress than the dreaded scale. Water retention can fool the scale, but there is no fooling the zippers and buttons!! I have some smaller jeans that fit me everywhere except for the old "HANGOVER"!!! They are getting closer all of the time though! Keep the faith, you're doing great!! Mike
