Thanks, Va. I'm going to have to try the Arizona Diet Green Tea - does it have any nutritional value? I've taken to adding a bit of SF cranberry juice to my water, helps me get it all in. You have such strength with your program, I sure do benefit from your regular posts. Thanks for being there for me - this time and always. Hugs, M.
Oh I defninitely had to comment on this one YES Chocolate for me as well! And I am not supposed to eat chocolate because of my migranes. I can't do any caffene so I've been a bad girl...but because of my migranes...it keeps me from going overboard TOO much. Not to say I sure haven't. Lately for me its been take 5 bars. Good gravy I don't dump hardly at all eating those puppies for some strange reason. Just a little pitter patter of the heart afterwards. For some reason the craving for chocolate is just THERE. I mean even before preganancy for me. I never had such a craving for chocolate before... and also for me champagne. Which I learned my lesson the hard way on that and dumped so bad I thoughts i'd die! But i still craved it big time for some reason. Never did before wls. Never craved chocolate like i did before wls either. Was never a big chocolate person... but now! Forget about it. I just WANT it. LOL. Don't deprave yourself. I ended up getting the little mini hershey variety pack and put it in a little dish in the house and everyone eats them. My husband is a HUGE chocoholic so I know I won't overdo the chocolate because it will be gone before I know it LOL. But I am right there with you on that. Hang in there! And as far as weight loss... its all in the mind. Not that that helps. lol. But its hard. Some months are better than others. Just be confident and let your stomach remind you of what you had done. Try to resist the unnatrual urges to munch. If you are really dying for that chocolate have like 3 of the little bars or 4 hershey kisses and then pick up something to get your mind off it...like a new tea... I use tea to get my mind off food. I think... hmm let me try this new flavored tea and it seems to appease my appetite for whatever I am not sure i'm craving. I add a little cream as a treat and sweeten it with splenda and sit and sip... it passes time- the sipping- then by the time i'm done my tea the craving dissapears. Its a tip may not work for you but then it may! ((hugs to ya!))

Hi Reenie,
It's so good to read all of the messages. I have really missed you guys. I am having a hard time trying to remember my username and password. I only had access to a computer and internet through work and because my work restricted us from using the internet I have not been posting. However, I have a computer now and I just got internet service yesterday. I promised to immediately go online and post some of my updates. Can anyone hlep me in getting back in?
By the way - Happy Anniversary to all you Marchers!!!! It's been 3 years for me and feeling great!!!
Hi Reenie!!!
I've had issues with chocolate too. Sometimes I think it's hormonal (our age and all...). There are days I have no desire for it and days when just the mere metion of it gives me the shakes. Sugar free chocolate in large amounts gives me a severe case of the plop plops. I think a lot of it has to do with stress, too. But if you have to, cold turkey it. I've had to do that on occassion when I really crave it. It's very difficult for me to just have one piece when I crave more so I try to stay away.
You'll be fine....you're an amazing person!
Love,
Joanie
