Hi gang, I just wanted to say that when I came home from work today, I went outside and raked for about an hour - continuously, I mean, my arms never stopped moving. I raked yesterday too and I'm actually getting blisters. This is a good thing! I am not such a couch potato anymore! I actually DON'T MIND doing chores or yardwork - half the battle was apparently getting my obese self up. It's much easier now, and like I said, I can't get over the fact that I can participate in a continuous activity for half an hour or more. Last week I went to the fitness center after work and did this machine, I think it's called an eliptical machine, anyway I did it without stopping for 35 minutes. Earlier in the week I worked out on the treadmill with my walkman, and I actually *RAN* for more than four minutes without stopping or dying, while actually keeping moving for more than 40 minutes total. It's unreal. I continue to be shocked and amazed by being able to participate in excercise that 'normal' people wouldn't think twice about. I'm so glad I had surgery, it's definitely an entirely different world. Jen 266/172/160?
