Finally broke the plateau here too!

Well... I've been miserable for 3 1/2 weeks. I was at my first plateau 7 mos. in and it STUNK! It stopped and mocked me at 200.2. The darn scale even went up to 202.2. I FLIPPED!!! I even neglected reading the posts everyday because I was soooo upset! (Why isn't there an emoticon of someone jumping up and down breaking a scale!?!) Then I got my "friend". Now my "friend" is gone and I jumped on the scale as soon as it left. 195.4. Thank god the plateau is over and I'm going strong again! Darn water weight!!!! Thanks everyone for your kind words to my last post! I hope I don't have to post another post like the last one until I'm at my goal... whatever that may be LOL! ~Hugs Janine 320/195 -125!!! Woohoo

Hi Janine, I know that feeling. I hadn't had any plateau's until this last month, then I went off my blood pressure meds and one of them was a diuretic. I promptly gained between 5 and 6 pounds. I went yesterday for my 7 month check up, and had gained .4 pounds from last month. I was not happy, but Iknow it is the change/drop in meds. I hope now that I am on the way back down again. I still have a way to go, so it's too soon to be struggling with it. Good luck and don't give up the faith!!!! Hugs, Mo

That happens to me everytime my "friend" comes. I gain about 4 to 5 pounds of water weight and then drop about 10 pounds right after. my friend just ended and I am dropping about 1/2 to a pound a day. Holding steady now at 138. Congrats on getting past 200!! ~Nicole

Congrats... I'm hoping the same will be true for me. I've been holding pretty steady (if you're not counting gaining and losing the same 3/4 pounds) for the last 7-8 weeks. It's sooo depressing. I just want to throw up my hands and say forget it! My friend should be gone by Tuesday and I want to do a happy dance with the rest of you guys!! Ms P

Congrats! I am in the same boat with ya! I was so EVIL with PMS this time I could have hurt anyone who even looked at me, and OF COURSE everyone asked this week so HOW MUCH MORE WEIGHT HAVE YOU LOST??? UHM... not a freakin pound! LOL now that I am in the middle of "friends visit" I am loosing again slowly! GOSH I HATE THAT FRIEND! Is this how it is going to be for ever now??? nic 291/181/145
