First Plateau... Worst time!

I'm losing my mind! I hit my first dreaded plateau and it couldnt come at a worse time! My scale says 200.2. Why here? 200.2?!?! $#@&!!! Its been mocking me for 2 weeks now! I want sooo bad to get below that 200 mark. I haven't been lower than 200 in 25 years! Anyone have any suggestions? Sympathy? Support? I could use it all! PS.. Before you go there.... I already thought about throwing the scale out the window... I need other suggestions LOL ~Janine (*****ally shouldnt complain- down to 200.2 from 320)

Congratulations on your fantastic weight loss!!!!! Don't you hate that platou thingy? Just as I got closer to my 200 mark the scale started working poorly. HA! The thing was making fun of me! Instead of the 3 to 4 pounds a week it went for 2 weeks without moving then when it decided to move it moved at 1 to 1/2 a pound a week. Drove me nuts. Also made it sweeter when it finally went to 199 YIPPE!!!!! Its still slow now but I have made the first goal that I ever wanted to be. Im now at 188. My god I never thought I'd be 188. I've not been under 200 pounds since I was 11 years old. That was 41 years ago. My next goal is to make it to 180. Whew. Life is good. Janine Good luck & god bless, pam We'll both make our goal soon.

WOW Your FIRST Plateau! Consider yourself very lucky! I hit a plateau 2 weeks every month I go up and down the 1st 2 weeks of the month then towards the end of the month I slowly start to loose. Those darn plateaus are the worst! Your body is just playing catch up. It will start back up. Try adjusting or changing your diet a bit, although sometimes that doesnt even work and we just have to wait for the body to "fix" itself. Hang in there!!! ((hugs)) Elizabeth M

Hey Janine, I am right there with you!!!!! I been at 200 for the past 4 weeks, even went up to 203 once. I was exercising 5 days a week at Curves and last week I switched it up only did Curves 3 days and walked the other 2. Added in a little more protein and WOW!!! I got on the scale at Curves today and I am 199 I am praying I keep going down even if it is just one pound I am rejoicing!!!!!! Just Keep It Up!!!! I know it will have to keep coming off!!!! Rhen
