Well 3 years ago I was a big huge lady. Yes big only over 300 pounds. Living beteen dr's office to dr's office. With my asma killing me , all thinking how could I manage my life. Feeling lonlyness . All ways waiting to fine myself thin in the morning. It didn't come by itself. My life change 3 years ago. Tears come from my heart . I'm a new lady. Yes , a new lady . Not how thin I want to be, but here I am weighting 190 pounds for the first time in about 30 years I was so overwieght. Now I can speak out for my spanish people. I working hard to help others go where they can recieve some help for them just has I did. I'm very thankful to God first. Then to my doctors , Dr. Fiallo and Dr. Keroack . They are my favorite. There we have "maggie" in Dr. Keroack office so supportive. Thanks to obesityhelp . A place were you can come a look for help. Thanks to my" marchers" my buddies online. God bless you all.

Yvette We were both close to the same weight when we had our surgery & I also fight to get where I want to be. I have not stopped fighting, as I have started the South Beach Detox & have just completed the first 2 days. I feel better already from cutting out the sugar & Carbs. I bet after the first 2 weeks I will not only have lost weight again, but actaully like how I feel again. Amazing How are thinking after 3 years can get twisted. I went back to basics for this 3 year anniversary. Take care & keep fighting. You look Great!! Marilyn, the Bearlady

Yvette - I know how you feel but 190 compared to over 300 is a huge accomplishment! I was stuck in the 190's for what seems like forever. But a little bit here and there and you can continue to go down, but it's not necessary. You are actually quite normal now, my dear and everything else from here is "gravy." Thanks for coming in and updating. Like Maureen said, I will be here 4 years out as well posting my updates. If anything, at least we get to catch up this way. This is a great tool for us to keep in touch and we should never forget that! Dina
