OT: I need help with a class!!

I am in the process of working on my Bachelor's in Education. I am getting my degree in Elementary Education. I am in a class called Survey of Early Childhood, and I have to make a box of file folders full of various pictures. I am having trouble finding certain pics: 1. Children photos (need individuals, pics with family, pics with grandparents, etc.) 2. Pictures of machinery (tractors, etc.) 3. Community workers (firemen, police, military, etc.) 4. Weather pics (clouds, lightening, rain, snow, etc.) Can you guys help me out?? If you have any pictures you are willing to share, please email them to me!! I would REALLY appreciate it!! Only me and my teacher (and some 4 year old Headstart students) will see these pics, it's just to get a grade on my box, basically. I would appreciate any help at all!!! I'm getting desperate!!! LOL If you do email me some pics, make sure you say something about what it is in the text or subject so that my hubby doesn't think it's spam or a virus and delete it! LOL Thanks in advance! Do these need to be online photos, "real" photos or what? how fast do you need them? call your local FHA chapter or the farm bureau and see if they have any old stuff they can give ya. Call the library and see fi they have old magazines they will throw out you can look online at webshots and find stuff there too. Good luck! if I can help let me know! I teach Kindergarten! They can be online photos, but the quality is the issue. Most of the pics that can be pulled off websites are low quality when printed. Pics people have scanned usually print better. I need them pretty quick. My box is due in a week and a half. Thanks for the tips about the library, I'll give that a try. I hope to teach kindergarten, too! I did my observations in a kindergarten class, and I loved it!! I still have 2 years before I graduate, but I am soooo looking forward to being in my own classroom. Tammy 373/265/170

for the pics of people, try looking on studio site. like www.glamourshots.com www.searsportrait.com www.picturpeople.com and for the other pics, do a search for stock photos, because they have pictures of everything on stock sites. good luck!!

Tammy, The Microsoft site has tons of clip art, including photos, that you can download. Under media type select photos and then type in your search criteria. http:// office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx (remove the spaces between the http:// and office) I supervise web developers and we use the Microsoft site all the time for photos for web sites.
