OMG the pain won't go away!

The past few weeks I have been having joint and muscle pains. Not just aches, i mean OMG someone shoot me pains. I have seen the doctor for it, and he put me on vioxx, which didn't help, and sent me to a theropist, which makes me have more pain. I can't handle much more of this, and i hate going to the doctor, because i am afraid he is gonna think i am mental.

The last couple of weeks my joints have being giving me fits , too. I hope it is the weather change or something. I had been feeling so good , so maybe this will go away soon , I pray !!! Judy

I have been haveing muscle aches the last few weeks also. I don't know why. I had my blood tested and everything was normal. ???? Cindy

Try to add some potassium--- Mine is low to normal and I have added a banana a day-- it seems to help the muscle stuff-- good luck- July

This is strange...Ive got problems with numbness in my feet an lower legs Been tested and all the blood work is fine. They did a EMG - electrodes zaping muscle YUCK and they think its a mild case of neroperthy. Something that diabetics get BUT Im not diabetic! The specialist thinks it might be from an old back injury. Which would figure cause I feel so good that I forget that I have a bad back. Geesh! is it the 6 month aches and pains club?

Have you checked your B 12 levels? That is a symptom of deficiency. B 12 deficiency is common after WLS. Joy

LMAO, we are all hurting units. I have been put on some strong meds now for mine. I get kinda whacked out. I think i am gonna have to just ignore the problem, because it is causing other problems. Like yesterday, my boyfriend took the day off (he works on a farm) but he took the day off because i had to go to the doctors and the doctor said i would need someone to drive me there and someone to watch me throu the day, because of these new meds and make sure i wasn't having a reaction. And my boyfirends boss ragged him out all morning today because of it and told him how i wasn't worth all this trouble and if he wanted to keep his job, he should ditch me. Scott almost walked out, but i told him not to, because jobs are hard to come by at this point. I don't want to be the cause of him losing his job. I feel like my medical problems better go away or i could lose him or he will lose his job. I know i am rambleing on and on, and just needed to vent. Thanks for listening to me.

Tanya, Sorry you are having so much pain... NOT VIOXX!!! YIKES!!! I know this is an older post so I am sure you've heard about the news on vioxx and them pulling the medicine off the markets because of the high heart attack risk. In fact my father was taking that stuff and he DID have a heart attack ... they dont know if it was from the medication though of course but hmm... such a coincidence. I dont know what your medical background is... whether you have arthritis or something other... if not have you been tested for lymes disease? I have had it and it hurts your joints sooo bad. check your vitamins... potassium ... get them bananas in ! and your daily vitamins and calcium and such of course.
