Well I was on a plateau for about a month and a half. Stuck at 148. Up and down about every day the same 3 pounds and was starting to get a little discouraged! now I am down to 140! Lost about 8 pounds in the last week YAY!!! The 130's are on their way and I want to maintain at about 135, so I am 5 pounds from goal!! Bought an old navy halter top sundress in a size 6 and it fits perfectly!! I am buying all kinds of jeans in a size 6, Tommy Hilfilger size 6 jeans fit great, NY company jeans in a size 6 I cant get buttoned(go figure), old navy jeans in a 6 fit great, levis' size 6 fit great, DKNY jeans in a 6 fit great. I am in awe considering I only owned 1 pair of jeans before the surgery because I hated buying them in a size 18-20!! I bought a pair of Covington jeans from sears and they are a size 4, tight like I'm a sausage in casing but I can get them on! All I can say for the people who want new brand name clothes is EBAY, EBAY, EBAY!!! I got a Dolce and Gabbana jean dress, new with the tags on it for 25 bucks!!! This dress is 150.00 in the stores!!! I truly thank God every day for this surgery. I am no longer on all the meds that I took before and it is wonderful! Have a lot of saggy skin on my inner thighs and stomach. My new PCP here in Key West, has already let me know that as soon as I am ready for PS to let her know and she will refer me to the Navy Base in Jacksonville Florida as they have a new plastic surgeon there!!! Thanks to you all for your support and love. It means more to me than you will ever know. I will have new pictures up soon, hubby took the digital camera with him and wont be bac****il October 11th. ~Nicole

Nicole, Nicole, you are such an inspiration. I think I can still probably get only one leg in a size 6, but everything is getting smaller. I did the same as you, after a 4 week plateau I dropped many pounds in one week. I guess as they say "good things come to those who wait" is definately true in regards to WLS isnt it? I bought a bunch of new clothes on clerance at Walmart the other day. I just couldnt pass them up for the little of nohting price, 3.00 for cropped pants, and 2.00 for tshirts. It is so rewarding to be able to buy such cute fashionable clothes and feel good about wearing them. I went out on a limb and bought a short, actually very short for me, skort with bright different colored flowers on them, and a matching bright orange top with the gathered draw string sides. My 8 and 9 year old daughters were like "You go Mom, that is really a happening outfit". They were most disgusted that they couldnt fit in it. I am glad we are having warm summer weather yet so I can get some use out of them. Keep it up Nicole and I look forward to your new pictures. Janelle

Janelle you go girl!!! It is so great buying clothes now!! and LOL at the walmart I did the same thing and while we were in the store they annouced that everything on the clearance racks was half off so I got a bunch of tops for about 1.50 to 2.50 and a couple pair of shorts for 3.50!! I love buying clothes and knowing that I will actually look good in them!! ~Nicole
