6 MONTH TALLY, FOLKS!
It's hard to believe that we're all checking in with our 6 month anniversaries and the numbers are impressive! Let's do a 6-month total tally of combined weight loss, ok? I'll go first. I'm in a stall, but have lost 102 lbs. since surgery. Let's just total "since surgery" dates, not pre-surgery weight. So...
102 lbs.
Who's next???
P.S. Imagine, in another 6 months many of us will be at or near our goal weight!!!! Isn't that thought just amazing???
So now we're at a total of 396 lbs. lost. As people continue to respond to this post, make sure to add your total weight loss to the total tally so far...so the next person, tell us what you've lost and add it to the total of 396, and post that as well ... and so on... I think the final number is going to blow us all away! Best, Maureen
396 lbs. so far -- add yours next!

Maureen, I am trying not to be jealous of you!
I know I know its only 15 pounds right!!
I did go into Sams club tonight and was looking at some Gloria Vanderbilt slacks they had lying in a heap (as only they do at Sams)
Of course no dressing rooms...but I thought frig it, I am buying these in a 16 and will see what happens, and then turned around and decided to buy a fitted ribbed TURTLENECK in an XL...yea right! the XL looks like a small to me..but I bought the two items for 28.00 thinking, maybe in a few months I can pull this off...
WELL I AM WEARING IT TOMORROW! I am stunned. It looks really nice.
A SIXTEEN and an XL from a NON PLUS SIZE SHOP..
I am going to take a picture and post it somewhere. This is a MIRACLE!
Lots of love,
Kris
Also my divorce was final last week, and I celbrated by throwing the
"Kris Moody Freedom Festival" at a local pub! What fun! The best years have to be ahead of me. Can't look back people...onward and upward!
What's to be jealous of, you crazy girl! How WONDERFUL for you! I had two MAJOR goals when I embarked on this journey. One was to get in a canoe with my 10 year old son and go fishing with him; the other is to get on my horse and ride side-by-side with my 16 year old daughter. Well, on Sept. 1st, Devin's 11th birthday, we got in that canoe together and you should have heard my hootin' it up on that lake! I'm not on my horse yet, but I bought a pair of riding breeches in a size 18, and I was able to get into them yesterday! Snug fit to be sure, and the snap kept unsnapping...but hey, I never believed I could really make this dream a reality -- and it's just around the corner, I FEEL it. Kris, I am SOOOOOO happy for you. You sound as if you've sprouted wings and are truly about to sore! Take good care of yourself! Best, Maureen
