Well actually I can go, but I just cant get any umph behind it. Has anyone noticed any problems in this area? I have to go really bad and I sit down and all I can do is get a small trickle out, eventually I will get enough out to releive most of the pressure, but still feel as though I have to go. I had a little bit of a weak bladder before WLS, but am wondering if now because of the weight loss it has gotten worse. I dont have any pain, and I am sure it is not a kidney infection or stone, have had both of those and it isnt at all that, but it is frustrating as heck to have to go and not be able to. Sometimes I sit on the toilet for 15-20 minutes trying to get it going and all out! Any advice? Janelle -119 with 35 to go!!!!!

Sounds like a bladder infection. There is some stuff called Azo Standard that you can get at the drug store without a prescription that will give some quick relief. It will color your urine orange, so don't panic. You may need antibiotics to get rid of it. Cranberry juice helps too--be sure to look for the low cal type to minimize sugar. Hope you get to feeling better. It is terrible to have to go all the time and only be able to squeeze out a few drops! Joy

Janelle, please check in with your regular doctor. This might be something as minor as a bladder infection, which can be cleared up pretty easily. But it may be something else altogether and I would really advise you get this problem checked out. Keep us posted. Good luck. Maureen

Even though you have had bladder infections before and they were painful this might be an infection with different symptoms. A bladder infection can lead directly to a kidney infection and that can be life threatening. Please contact your doctor immediately. Louise

I have noticed that after surgery that my pee is not as forceful but it doesnt take me long to pee though... Only if I drink about 150oz of fluid is it a bit more forceful, but when I drink around 64 oz or so per day, it takes its sweet time coming out... VAL

Janelle, I agree with everyone else, You should not be having that kind of trouble. Please go see you Dr. & find out what might be causing the problem. Don't let it go to long!!. You could have a blockage somewhere thats causing it. Be Safe & Hope you feel better soon. Marilyn, the bearlady
