Six months ago
Donna,
Great post and great thread. You look wonderful!
I started out at 286 and am now at 180.
Size 26 women's to size 16 misses.
I had become a recluse and hated leaving my house, going to parties and had to force myself to go to work.
3 weeks ago we went to San Diego and I didn't care about my jiggly thighs on the beach. I ran, swam and played all afternoon without getting tired.
2 weeks ago, I walked ALL over San Francisco for 4 days and had energy to spare. No apprehension about fitting in the plane seat and had enough left over seat belt after buckling it to be able to smack my boyfriend next to me with the end of the left over strap. He never did figure out why this gave me such great joy.
Last weekend I threw a large party and was still running full steam until the wee hours of the morning. Got up the next morning for a motorcycle ride and kept going until late Sunday.
Life is just terrific these days!

Donna,
Congrats!
Great job! it does feel great compared to what we were 6 months ago. Its amazing really. I am sometimes in such awe at how much weight I actually gained! I wasnt able to do the simplest things and now, everyday I am surprised at the ease with which I can do things. It's certainly a blessing that I thank God for everyday! I cant wait till I reach goal and it feels so great being able to wear nicer things. I wish you continued success!

Here are my stats:

Set backs: 1, month to a month in a half long and gained 6 pounds
Starting size: Tops, 3x or 24/26 -- Pants, 26 or 28 -- Bras, 44DD
Starting food weaknesses: Sweets and chips (fried chicken, also)
Starting exercise regime: None
Current weight: 268 pounds
Current weight loss: 72 pounds
Current size: Tops, 1x -- Pants, 20 -- Bras 42DD
Current food weaknesses: Chips and cookies
Current exercise regime: 25-27 minutes a day (in the morning) 7 days a week
Since I did have a significant set back, I guess I would leave my weight loss goal the same as it was for the first 6 months. What I mean is, since I lost 70 pounds in the first 6 months (when you would lose more rapidly), my goal for March 2005 is to have lost 140 pounds and be weighing no more than 200 pounds. I really want to be between 140 and 150 pounds down. Wish me look and pray for my well-being! Thank you!
